Are the botanicals in your jewellery real?
They sure are! I forage for and collect a lot of the botanicals I use in the jewellery on my travels. I also like to dry flowers that I am given as gifts. If I can dry it, I’ll use it in my creations!

Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?
All Oak & Thistle jewellery has hypoallergenic posts or hoops.

On the back of my earring cards, there will be either a little ‘S’ which stands for surgical steel or a little ‘T’ which stands for titanium. If there is not a little letter, then the posts are surgical steel.

Both of these materials are suitable for sensitive ears. I have quite sensitive ears myself and can wear both of these with no problem.

How do I look after my Oak & Thistle jewellery?
To keep your Oak & Thistle pieces looking gorgeous, please avoid extended exposure to heat and sunlight, as UV light can cause the resin to yellow and the bright colours to fade.

Avoid the use of chemicals and perfumes near pieces and do not submerge in water.

Although resin is strong and durable, if it is dropped or knocked against a hard surface, it can scratch or break.

Are you able to do custom earrings or ring cones?
I am starting to venture in to the world of custom creations! Pop over to the contact page, send me an email and I will get back to you with all the relevant info.

Please keep in mind, smaller flowers and blooms are easier for me to work with. Larger flowers will need to be taken apart so that I can fit them in to your chosen design shape.

Oh no! My jewellery broke! What should I do?
Send me an email with a picture of what is broken and we can organise the best way to have your jewellery repaired.

I missed out on a piece from your restock that I loved. Can you make another?
In most cases, I can reproduce something that I have already made. Send me an email and I will let you know if I can.

Please note that although I will use the same materials, they will never look the same as the original as every piece of jewellery is handmade and unique.

I saw something I liked at a market but I didn’t purchase it and now I regret it. Is there a way I can buy it from you online?
Sure thing! If you send me an email describing what the piece was, I can send you photos to confirm we are both talking about the same item and then organise a custom listing for you



What is the cost of shipping within Australia?
Standard post, approximately 3-14 business days, is a flat rate of $10 and express post, approximately 2-10 business days, is $13. Both postage options include tracking.

Multiple items can be shipped in one order for the same cost unless a heavy resin art piece has been ordered in which case shipping will be quoted separately.

Please note that the postage times are only estimates and I cannot guarantee that you will receive your order within this timeframe. Once orders are dispatched, there can sometimes be delays with AusPost that are out of my hands.

What is your shipping policy?
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. I will provide you with a tracking number when your order has been dispatched.

I cannot take responsibility if an item is lost or damaged in transit with Australia post. If you have an issue with your delivery, it is highly recommended that you contact AusPost with your tracking number so they can resolve your issue directly. 

Do you offer local pickup as an option?
I do! If you wish to pick your order up from me in Ringwood, I am more than happy to organise that! 

Before making your purchase, please send me a message to get the code to cancel out postage costs.

Do you ship outside of Australia?
If there’s something that you would like to purchase, but you live outside of Australia, please send me an email and I can organise a custom listing on Etsy for you.

What is your returns/refund/exchange policy?
Due to the time and care put into the handmade jewellery, I cannot provide refunds or exchanges for ‘change of mind’ returns.

Each order is packed with the utmost care. However, sometimes pieces can be damaged during transit. If this happens, please contact me within 2 days of receiving your order. Any returns must must be received within 14 days of delivery. The cost of the return parcel is the responsibility of the customer. It is recommended to send the item back to me with tracking as I cannot be held responsible for an item lost in transit.

Customised or personalised orders are not valid for exchange or returns.

If an order is processed with incorrect postage information provided by the buyer, I cannot take responsibility.

Do you gift wrap?
I don’t offer gift wrapping as an extra as every order is already wrapped as if it is a gift. I wrap every item in tissue paper and tie it with a raffia bow.

If you’re sending the earrings directly to the gift recipient, I can include a note in the order from you. Just write it in the note section of the cart and I’ll take care of the rest.
